Naked Hands for the last time at this New Forest Wedding
365 Days of Weddings | Day 44
Following on from yesterdays photograph I thought I’d introduce another pair of hands, this time the bride and groom.
Here the bride and groom are standing out in the warm on a summers day in the New Forest.
“I declare that I know of no legal reason why I Mark may not be joined in marriage to Emma.”
The words that initiate the wedding ceremony and when the day starts to take shape, you realise you are actually getting married! These hands are comforting, loving, and supporting. Both as anxious and nervous as each other, a simple, private touch caught on camera. Take a look, these naked hands are about to be adorned with their wedding rings and forever exist in the different state to this, the last time both hands will be without the wedding ring.
As a Documentary wedding photographer, I am constantly on the lookout for these small moments that tell a story, not only as a set of images but on their own. If you take the time to look, you will see the story contained within.
