Upton House Wedding Photographer
365 Days of weddings | Day 46
When faced with a garden full of colour and exotic plants it can be a little overwhelming just like this Upton House Wedding. As a photographer with sensory overload, it is sometimes difficult to keep an image simple. This wedding at Upton House and Country park was one such occasion.
John and Katy had serious style, their outfits were super retro-trendy, can you tell that was said by a father of two! I still remember cringing at my father saying ‘cool’ as I grew up. Katy with her 50/60’s hair and makeup and John with his paper buttonhole made out of music sheets. I wanted to show their style off with a touch of the gardens. This is simply a corner of the walled garden, they took their place on the footpath next to the palms with some lavender in the foreground to echo the wedding palette. Simple but beautiful. I think this photo shows just how elegant a simple couple portrait can be.
