HISTORY, HYSTERIA, AND ZERO POSING. Ross & Sarah at Silchester Farm.
They didn’t want a “wedding.” They wanted a history-themed party in a barn. From the sword fighting (yes, really) to the absolute carnage on the dancefloor, this day was the perfect definition of “Unscripted.” No stiff group shots, just great light, loud music, and two people having the best day of their lives. If you want to know what my documentary style actually feels like, start here.
This isn’t a curated feed of styled shoots. This is the real deal. From epic parties at Lulworth Castle to intimate elopements on the Jurassic Coast, these stories show what a wedding day actually looks like when you ditch the script.
On 4th May Charlie and Jazz enjoyed their New Forest wedding, I had the pleasure of joining them as their Sopley Lake wedding photographer. Not to be mistaken for Sopley Mill, this is a hidden gem located behind Sopley Farm’s pick your own field near Bransgore, Dorset and really is spectacular.
Attention to detail was the mark of this wedding at Kingston Country Courtyard. John and Martin took this venue to new heights. I hope you love these photographs as much as I do!
Ellie and Geoff won their Southdowns Manor Wedding Photographer in our Valentines day photography giveaway. A full wedding package. watch their highlights in this short photo film.
